Awards and Benefits

Completing the Fundamentals of Evaluation course offers major benefits for those wishing to become an individual professional member of AMEC, which entitles the designatory letters MAMEC. Members require at least six years’ experience in media evaluation, market research or as a communication consultant/specialist with relevant experience of measurement, evaluation, planning or research. This is reduced to three years on successful completion of the AMEC College Fundamentals of Evaluation course; or to two years on successful completion of AMEC College plus endorsement from existing AMEC Member (sponsor).

Associate membership, which entitles the designatory letters AAMEC, requires at least three years’ full-time experience in the media evaluation, market research industry or as a communication consultant/specialist with relevant experience of measurement, evaluation, planning and research. This is reduced to one year on successful completion of the AMEC College Fundamentals of Evaluation course.

Each student that successfully completes the course will receive a certificate from AMEC, which is recognised by AMEC Members.
