Plan of work
The course starts with a short introduction on our recommended way to study the course. The course provides a Study Text, Case Studies and a end of course assessment. At the end of your study you are invited to undertake an assessment. This is in the form of completing one written essay.

Social Media
This module provides a detailed analysis of Social Media, with particular emphasis on the most important and burgeoning forms, including blogging and microblogging, social networks and content communities. We will explore the thoughts and opinions of leading players in the industry and discuss the enormous impact social media can now exert on brand development and management. Through a variety of case studies and study texts, we will be establishing the methods by which brands can utilise social media to promote their products, services and to exploit specific PR opportunities.
